Evi Susanti is a member of Balai Sakinah ‘Aisyiyah (BSA) in Bulujaran Lor village in Probolinggo, East Java. BSA is a community-based group established by INKLUSI Partner ‘Aisyiyah that provides education, consultation, complaint channels, and assistance related to SRHR, stunting, child marriage prevention, women’s leadership, and economic empowerment. BSA aims to increase rights awareness, empower women and people with disabilities, and facilitate their access to essential services.
As a youth representative, Evi strongly supports the BSA educational programs on child marriage prevention to young people, which cover critical issues such as the legal marriage age, advocating for the appropriate marriage age, and rejecting marriage dispensations for underage brides.
Through the INKLUSI Program, ‘Aisyiyah plays an important role in strengthening women’s leadership and increasing access to health services and economic opportunities with a focus on the Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) approach.
