The book ‘Voices Often Ignored: An Analysis of the Inclusivity of the 2024 Elections for Person with Disabilities’ presents the importance of inclusion for persons with disabilities in the administration of General and Regional Elections. Compiled based on monitoring results, dissemination forums, press conferences, and webinars throughout 2023–2024, this book reviews the political rights of people with disabilities, the challenges of inclusivity in democratic practice, as well as field findings and best practices that can be developed.
The book also provides strategic recommendations to encourage systemic improvements towards more inclusive General and Regional Elections. It serves as a reference for policymakers, election organisers, and other stakeholders.
